I am thinking about becoming Catholic. Who should I contact?

You should contact Melinda Rivelli, our Coordinator of Adult Faith Formation. You can reach her at 283-5508, ext. 116 or marivelli@aol.com. She can tell you about the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults or the RCIA, a process by which people can explore the Catholic faith. Relaxed and informal sessions are held weekly on Thursday evenings in the lower level of the parish center offices.

We would like to have our baby baptized. What is the process?

People need to join the parish first before scheduling a baptism. Once you are registered, we will forward your information to Mary Anne Schaefer, our parish administrator for religious education. She will contact you to schedule a date for the baptism as well as a date to prepare you for the sacrament. To join the parish, contact Melinda Rivelli at 283-5508, ext. 116 or marivelli@aol.com.

We have recently become engaged and we would like to have our wedding at SJA. What is the process for reserving the Church?

We require people to be members for 2 months prior to scheduling a wedding as a parishioner. Doing so insures that people who have been registered with us for some time will also have the opportunity to schedule their wedding here.

If the two month waiting period is not possible for you, you may schedule your wedding as a non-parishioner but in doing so, you must provide your own priest.
